ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES
Students also have opportunities to participate in enrichment activities. These activities reinforce concepts learned in our classrooms and encourage the well-rounded development of our students.
- Recess: Gross motor skills, free play, and lots of time to socialize are crucial to a growing child’s development. Students are taken outside daily, weather permitting, and provided with movement-oriented breaks throughout the day.
- Community Service: Students have the opportunity to partner with One Church at Bethel’s Family and Heavenly Hands in Community service projects, collecting food for the food pantry, and learning the importance of supporting the needs of the community.
- In School Presentations: Throughout the school year, special presentations and performances enrich the students’ school experience. This increases their self-confidence and provides opportunities to showcase their creativity.
- Field Trips: For Kindergarten through 5th grade, age-appropriate field trips to locations are carefully chosen to teach each student about their community and world.
- After School Enrichment: BFCA offers a rich assortment of after-school activities that build on school day activities. These include team building and logical reasoning challenges that foster critical thinking.
